Sunshyn Learning Center
Terms of Service
Last updated: August 21, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sunshyn Learning Center at https://learning.sunshyncredentialing.com operated by Sunshyn Credentialing & Medical Billing Group (“Sunshyn,” “we,” “us”).
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Learning Center is
The Learning Center provides education, interactive worksheets, practice-building tools, Practice Academy programs, resources, and related features for independent healthcare providers and their teams. It is for professional education and operations planning.
It is not medical advice, legal advice, billing advice for a specific claim, or a guarantee of payer enrollment, credentialing approval, reimbursement, or IBCLC/program outcomes.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
- Provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account, including Google sign-in if you enable it.
- Practice-owner seats and invitations must only be used for people you authorize.
3. Memberships & fees
Free and premium features may change over time. Premium access may be granted by subscription, practice membership, Practice Academy enrollment, or Sunshyn administration.
Current plan prices and included seats are shown on the Membership page at the time of purchase. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise:
- Paid plans are billed through QuickBooks Online invoices with online payment links when billing is enabled.
- Premium features activate after the related invoice is paid in full (balance $0), or sooner if Sunshyn grants access manually.
- Unpaid invoices may result in a grace period (typically 10 calendar days as described on Membership), after which premium access may be restricted until payment is confirmed. Account data and progress are retained.
- Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing. Cancel future renewals by contacting us or adjusting your plan; cancellation does not automatically refund a paid period already invoiced.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Store or upload protected health information (PHI) or patient clinical records
- Attempt to break security, scrape excessively, or disrupt the service
- Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliation with Sunshyn
- Share copyrighted Learning Center materials outside permitted personal/practice use
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you enter (worksheet answers, notes, uploads, practice tools, Academy program content you create). You grant Sunshyn a limited license to host, process, and display that content only as needed to operate the Learning Center for you and your authorized team or learners.
Sunshyn retains all rights in the platform, curriculum, templates, branding, and software.
6. Third-party services
The service may rely on third parties such as hosting (Amazon Web Services), optional Google sign-in, and Intuit QuickBooks Online for invoicing and payment links. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing. We are not responsible for third-party outages outside our reasonable control.
Card payments, if offered on an invoice, are processed by Intuit/QuickBooks—not by Sunshyn’s own card vault.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUNSHYN DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Educational examples may become outdated; verify requirements with primary sources, payers, and your advisors.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUNSHYN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR LOST-PROFIT DAMAGES, OR FOR DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON EDUCATIONAL CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO SUNSHYN FOR THE LEARNING CENTER IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, security risk, nonpayment, or product discontinuation. Upon termination, your right to access the service ends; provisions that should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) remain in effect.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections of your residence apply. Courts in Florida have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from these Terms, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
